This page explains what happens to information you send through this website. It is written in plain English deliberately — if anything here is unclear, please just ask.
The short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and tracks nobody. The only information collected is what you choose to type into the contact form.

What is collected
If you use the contact form, the following is collected:
- What you type — your name, email address, telephone number (optional) and message.
- Technical details recorded with the submission — your IP address, your browser's user-agent string and the date and time. These are kept solely to detect and block automated spam and abuse of the form.
Nothing else is collected. There is no account system, no newsletter sign-up and no profiling.
Why, and on what legal basis
Your enquiry is used for one purpose: to read it and reply to you. The lawful basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR — namely responding to someone who has deliberately made contact. The technical details are retained on the same basis, for the security of the site.
Who can see it
Your enquiry is read by Anthony Burr. The website is built and hosted by Lustre Digital, who act as a data processor and may see submissions in the course of maintaining the site. Submissions are stored on the website's own server and delivered by email.
Your information is never sold, never shared with advertisers and never added to a marketing list.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
This site sets no cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking of any kind. Typefaces are served from this website rather than from an external font service, so viewing this site does not report your visit to anyone else.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with your query and any resulting work, and in any case no longer than 24 months, after which they are deleted. Spam-prevention records are deleted after 12 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask for a copy of the information held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email anthony@burrmedia.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
